About

"To worship God,
Through the work we do,
By serving others."

Our Mission

In Hebrew Avad means to worship, work, and serve… and here at Avad Construction, that is exactly what we do. Our business model is to worship God, through the work we do, by serving others. After working for other construction, excavation, and landscaping companies, I got tired of seeing people do an unjust service to the clients they were working for. Therefore, in the fall of 2010 I decided to go into the construction business myself and the word Avad seemed to fit my mission. Avad Construction handles a large range of services for any customer in need – no job is too small. From retaining walls, sod, and siding in the heat of the summer, to snow and ice dam removal in the winter, and roof clearing in the frigid winter months. Additionally, we can handle insurance claims and storm damage all year long. Avad Construction was founded in Andover, MN and will work all throughout the Twin Cities metro and rural areas.
Nick Glasow

Our Ownership

Nick Glasow’s passion for construction began at an early age. His first job was digging pools with a Bobcat at the mere age of 16. Later, his training included the Heavy Equipment Operator Program at Assocatiated Training Services in 2001 and ten years of apprenticeships under other construction, excavation, and landscaping companies. Upon making the decision to further his career in construction, Nick attended Kaplan University to become a MN Certified Licensed Contractor and opened Avad Construction in 2010. To further his knowledge in the construction business, Nick attended the University of Northwestern to obtain his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, where he received significant training in business ethics. Outside of construction, Nick is a compassionate volunteer and humanitarian aide with Eagle Brook Church, Healing Haiti, Compassion International, and 98.5 KTIS. In his free time Nick enjoys boating, traveling with his wife, snowmobiling, and conducting firework shows with his father.
